This project was assigned to examine the relationship between human and "machine," and provide a way to re-shape the relationship through design. Although I am usually skeptical about machine, because I have always thought that it hinders the interaction between humans, I began to think about exception, the place where machine can help human to human interaction. Then I realized that I do not have much of interaction with my sponsor child, and started on this project in a wish that an app like this can come true in near future. Although there were suggestions on providing the sponsored children with PDA-like machines to make this communication interactive, I didn't put it in my project because I think it is much efficient to put that money in educating and feeding them.
